Shave vs Waxing (english version)
What do you prefer? Shaving or Waxing?
Shaving and waxing have their positive and negative effects. Personally, I've been waxing since i was 13 and I had never used a razor until my twenties. By the age of 20, I decided to try shaving. So in this article I will share with you my experience with both ways!
I'll start with waxing. First of all I will mention the places that i wax are the underarms, the bikini line and the bikini. After about 8 years of continuous wax epilation, the hairs come out weak, they have thinned out significantly and their colour is not as intense as it used to be. It is an effective way to get rid of the hair for more
than two weeks as it is removed from its root. Its rebuilding takes a few days and then begins the creation of the hair. Some people avoid this method because of the pain. Well that's a myth. There may be some pain at the first time, or if you want to change from razor to wax, but again the "pain" is very small and of course sufferable. If someone asked me to describe the pain, I would say it's like removing a sticker from your body. It is more annoying than painful. After waxing the skin is soft and i recomment this method especially for the summer, because our legs are exposed more. But wax depilation requires some breaks for the skin to rest. Last, I would like to mention that the frequency of the need to wax will diminish significantly, for example I need waxing every 4 months. The negative thing is that on my legs the hairs are so weak that don't grow all at the same time and i need to wax twice in two weeks in order to have the results that i want. That's not something I face in any other area.
On the other hand the razor is easy to use and available every hour and completely painless. It also leaves the legs or any other part of the body soft and smooth. The fact is though that if not every day, then day by day we need to use it which can be tedious and time consuming. But it offers a very beautiful effect which may be a bit better than wax, if the razor is used properly. That is, in order to have the maximum result it is good to shave first
against the hairs, then the opposite way and finally again against. Also do not to shave an area at once. Lift the razor from the skin so it can breathe, it is more effective. Be careful and don't let the razor to dry at a wet area cause bacteria might grow in it. Before and after the use, disinfect it with alcohol as well as the area that you shaved in order to avoid any contamination. Lastly, a negative thing is that the people that have strong hair even after shaving the black pores of the roots are still visible.
Closing both methods cost about the same and the result is similar. I personally prefer waxing a little more just because result has longer duration. But everyone should always do what is best for them!
